After Schmidt’s closed, the Ortlieb name passed from one brewer to another; the beer is currently brewed in Baltimore. Parts of the Ortlieb’s complex were dismantled in 2002, yet much of the old brew house still stands. Ortliebs frame packs are available in two sizes. One is a 6-liter full-frame pack while the other is a half-frame pack with 4 liters of storage space.
